LEROY WINS GOLD AT PAN AMERICAN MASTERS

Philippe Leroy represented the BVI in three events, the Individual Time Trial on Friday the 11th Nov, the Road Race on Saturday 12th and the Criterium on Sunday the 13th of November, 2022. Leroy not having a team of riders was unable to place on day two and three, but clearly showed his ability in the individual event on Friday during the high level of competition which included riders from North & South America, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Overall Philippe Leroy placed 1st in the Time Trials on Friday with Gerardo Moncada of Columbia second an impressive 48 seconds behind Leroy  and Fernando Al Grajales also from Columbia third 1 minute 27 seconds back. The road race on Saturday saw Leroy placing 18th this being a team event would have required more BVI cyclists for him to place in the top three.
